Plane2Sell

How it works

Two paths: a direct cash offer or a net listing.

Path 1: Cash offer

Plane Options LLC may make a direct cash offer for a quick, no-contingency purchase. Every offer depends on the aircraft, its records, and the market. Request a valuation and mark your interest in a cash offer.

Path 2: Net listing

1

Valuation and net

Plane2Sell provides a free market valuation based on comparable sales. You and Plane2Sell agree on your net price.

2

Agreement

You sign an exclusive right-to-market agreement for a set term.

3

Photos and marketing

Professional photos with drone aerials ($500, refunded in full at closing). Plane2Sell publishes the listing, runs ads, and takes buyer calls and showings.

4

Offers

Above your net: the amount above net is split 50/50 and Plane2Sell handles the sale. At or below your net: the offer is passed to you to decide.

How offers are handled

OfferWho handles the salePlane2Sell earns
Above your netPlane2Sell50% of the amount above net
At or below your netYou, if you acceptNothing. Plane2Sell keeps a right of first refusal at that price.

Example: with a net of $200,000 and a sale at $220,000, you receive $210,000 and Plane2Sell receives $10,000.

Compared with a typical broker

A broker commission comes out of your price even when the plane sells at your number. On a Plane2Sell net listing, a sale at or below your net costs you nothing, and Plane2Sell earns only from the amount above it. A broker commission is still paid if the plane sells for less than you expected; with Plane2Sell, a sale at or below your net earns Plane2Sell nothing.

FAQ

What does net mean?

Your net is the price you agree to receive for the aircraft. It is set together with Plane2Sell, informed by a free market valuation based on comparable sales.

What if it sells at net?

If an offer comes in at or below your net, Plane2Sell passes it to you. You decide whether to accept it and you handle that sale yourself. Plane2Sell earns nothing on that sale.

What does exclusive mean?

You sign an exclusive right-to-market agreement for a set term. During that term, Plane2Sell is the only party marketing the aircraft for sale.

What is the right of first refusal?

On an offer at or below your net, Plane2Sell keeps the right to buy the aircraft at that same price before you sell it to that buyer.

Is the $500 photo fee refundable?

Yes. The $500 photography fee is refunded in full at closing. The fee helps confirm that sellers are ready to sell.
